  33.                      Sky welcomes the Disney Channel

  36. Disney have announced that late 1995 a UK version of the Disney channel will
  37. join the BSkyB network.
  38. The channel will broadcast on one of Skys transponders on either Astra 1A,1B
  39. or 1C.It will broadcast for 16 hours a day and will be only available as a
  40. bonus channel to subscribers of the Movie channels.( Just like Movies GOLD )

  47. Astra 1D is currently at 18.9 degrees East undergoing transponder tests. It
  48. will move alongside the present Astra satellites on 30th December.

  58. informing the public that TV EROTICA will be starting up soon.For those in
  59. the UK wishing to view this channel will have to aquire a twin-LNB system,
  60. ( or move your dish to 16 degrees ),a D2-Mac decoder,and then try and get
  61. hold of a card.
  62. No details are available as yet,but it would be likely that the sale of the
  63. official cards will not be available in the UK.

  70. The BBC have announced that their News & Information channel ( BBC World )
  71. will start transmitting from around January.The channel will be on the
  72. Eutelsat II F1 and shown round the clock in the clear.
  73. Programs will be a mix of current affairs,weather,documentary,and hourly
  74. bulletins.

  89. Dish maker Galaxis have unveiled their Future 1 Astra antenna.This amazing
  90. dish ( well rectangle really! ) measures just 360mm * 200mm * 40mm.Galaxis
  91. claim that aswell as receiving Astra 1A,1B,1C and 1D,it also suitable for
  92. recieving a few Eutelsat satellites aswell.

  104. In one of the latest issues of a Satellite magazine,Benedix Electronics of
  105. Germany are advertising Pirate cards.Not mentioning Sky by name their advert
  106. claims the card descrambles English channels on Astra.The price is a very
  107. cheap £160.( HOW MUCH? ).Other cards available are an Adult channel smart-
  108. card for a cheaper £20,and a D2-Mac 9 channel card for £45.
